not much subject matter?

I like the car (especially the rust highlights) and the flowers, but I feel them competing for attention. I really like the headlights and rust on the car - reminds me of something that could be in a Stephen King novel.
What if you crop away some of that foreground, wonder how it would impact on the image...

Interesting juxtaposition of subjects, if it were my shot I'd try cropping to a square format with the headlights and just the two flowers. The colours are good but the lighting's a touch flat and it could do with some sharpening.

Sorry, that all sounds a bit negative, it wasn't supposed to. I like the shot, the colours work well and as I said the contradiction in the subjects adds interest.

i would shoot from a lower angle, height, and crop out the grass, just flowers and car hood, color needs some pop, i like the shot, your car 4 is the best flickr.com/photos/84013281@N00/2092710714/in/set-72157603412261522/ [flickr.com/photos/84013281@N00/2092710714/in/set-72157603412261522/]

In general I agree with the suggestions. I think it would also make the shot stronger to zoom in on the central flower group more with a long lens so that the grill and headlights of the car blur slightly. That would effectively reduce the competition between the elements.

I like it but think that the flowers on the right should be cropped out, they move attention away from the ones in front of the headlamp, nice picture though, I like the colours.
