| qwertiepie | Dec 13, 2007 6:43am | I like the car (especially the rust highlights) and the flowers, but I feel them competing for attention. I really like the headlights and rust on the car - reminds me of something that could be in a Stephen King novel.
What if you crop away some of that foreground, wonder how it would impact on the image... |

| danpen | Dec 16, 2007 10:53pm | Interesting juxtaposition of subjects, if it were my shot I'd try cropping to a square format with the headlights and just the two flowers. The colours are good but the lighting's a touch flat and it could do with some sharpening.
Sorry, that all sounds a bit negative, it wasn't supposed to. I like the shot, the colours work well and as I said the contradiction in the subjects adds interest. |

I think it would also make the shot stronger to zoom in on the central flower group more with a long lens so that the grill and headlights of the car blur slightly. That would effectively reduce the competition between the elements. |
