Kind of Camera for Weather Chase?

What kind of camera will be appropriate for me cause i do love to capture those attractive wall of clouds..like this video of Oklahoma Supercell those were pretty clouds structure and very wild or rare to occur.. I was able to capture some photos of that one way back then..but they are not that good..I do love this kind of chasing cause of the adrenaline rush though sometimes its a little bit dangerous..Any suggestions will be appreciated..Thanks in advance..:)

Depends. Do you want something light and compact? If so, go with a Panasonic Lumix model with the extra wide angle lens for panoramic shots.

Other than that, if you want a DSLR, you have many options. Basically you want wide angles for panoramic weather shots, and possibly the ability to shoot in RAW to get the best lighting options in processing the shots. Canon, Nikon, Pentax all have good options in different price ranges.
